This same building you are staying in was built in 1900 and through the years, it has become a landmark.
The first deed was signed by Salvador Dalí’s father, a public notary bearing the same name. It became the renowned “Hostal el Comercio”, where people would stay on their way in or out of Spain, and also enjoy its bar and restaurant.
A few years ago, our family acquired the building and rebuilt top to bottom, only keeping and restoring the facade, with the aim of spending our holidays in this lovely village ourselves.
After talking to several people in the village, who had worked in the old hostel, we found out many exciting stories that we’re sure they’d like to share with you too. That is why we have named and themed our apartments after the characters in these stories, click the pictures below to know more!
