At 1 minute on foot, the market is open every day less Sunday. On Fridays a street clothes market is in front of the apartment.
It is a peculiar place next to the memorial, on the cliffs facing the sea.
The church of the neogothic built for the railway workers presides over Portbou since 1878.
The last stop before the border connects with other villages of the Costa Brava, Figueres, Girona and Barcelona.

Follow the path of Walter Benjamin between Banyuls and Portbou, you can take the train to both villages.
The GR-92 is the route that costs Portbou throughout the Costa Brava. You can walk to Llançà and Port de la Selva, or Cadaqués if you're in shape!
Take advantage of the Dalí region and visit its museum and houses in Figueres, La Pera, Portlligat and Cadaqués.
